Performance is built in from day one, not added at the end. Target scores of 90+ on Google PageSpeed are achieved through server-side optimisation, correctly sized images, deferred non-critical scripts and lean code, not by removing functionality.
Websites are built to be maintainable. Clean, well-structured code means future edits are straightforward, whether they are made through a care plan, in-house or by another developer if your circumstances change.

The primary stack is WordPress, which suits most businesses well. For projects that benefit from custom development, interactivity or specific performance requirements, Next.js is also available.
What happens after the website launches?
Ongoing support is available through a WordPress care plan or website management retainer. Alternatively, the site can be handed over fully with documentation.
Do you work with businesses outside the West Midlands?
Yes. Most projects run entirely remotely. Daylan Design is based in the West Midlands but works with businesses across the UK.
