I'm Kyle. Daylan Design is my project — something I built because I enjoy helping businesses get online properly. Most of the businesses I work with don't have a marketing department or a dedicated web designer. That's where I come in.

Evenings, weekends, early mornings. If you message me on a Saturday with a problem, I'll be on it. Prompt replies are not a promise I make lightly.

No account managers, no ticket system. When you contact Daylan Design, you get me. I know your site, I know the history, and I can act without needing to be briefed by someone else first.

The work I enjoy most is the stuff that takes some figuring out. A specific requirement, a tricky technical problem, something you have been told is difficult. That is where I do my best work.
How It Started
I started building websites for my own portfolio sites, learning as I went. That led to a full time job building digital products for companies turning over £10 million or more a year. I learned what quality looks like at that level and what it actually takes for a site to perform.
Daylan Design started as a way to take what I have learned and put it to use for businesses who would not normally have access to it. Not every business can afford an agency, but that does not mean they should settle for a template they do not understand and cannot update.
The name? Daylan is my middle name.
How We Work Together
I work to the same process on every project. It keeps things clear and means you always know where things stand.
Discovery
Before I touch anything, I want to understand what you actually need. Not just "a website" but what it has to do, who it is for, and what a good outcome looks like. Get this right and everything else follows.
Build
I build the site and give you a private link to watch it take shape. You are not waiting until the end to see what you are getting. If something is not right, it is much easier to say so at this stage.
Launch
I do not go live until I have checked everything. Speed, security, SEO basics, broken links, mobile layout. When the site launches, it is ready.
Support
Most of my clients stay on a care plan after launch. I handle the updates, backups and security so you do not have to think about it. If something goes wrong, I fix it.

Working UK-Wide
Based in Telford. Outside of work I don't get a huge amount of free time, but you'll usually find me on my bike, at the cinema, or on the sofa with Tia and Trinny, my two cats who treat every flat surface as their own. I'm also quietly planning a snowboarding trip, so if you have recommendations, I'm all ears.
